Playing with a prime lens

So I got a new prime lens.  Its basically a fixed focal length of 50mm.  I was in Hong Kong, and the price was just too low.

I took it out with the kids to Malahide Castle, and some of the candid shots I got I was pretty happy with.

When they're just 18 months old, it can be difficult to get them to keep still. Throw into the mix that its a trip outdoors with carol singers nearby and a visit to Santa Clause is imminent and you've no chance. This means things like choice of shutter speed are kinda out of your hands.
Anyway Finn decided to keep still for a couple of seconds, and I got this (There's about 5 blurry ones in this set!)
